Meet Alesha and Kodiak

Alesha and Kodiak are a dynamic husband-and-wife duo who have been traveling across the United States in their van for the past six years. Accompanied by their loyal dogs, Sage and Gwyn, they have made it their mission to visit all 50 states and every National Park. Their journey is not just about ticking destinations off a list; it’s about immersing themselves in local cultures, tasting regional cuisines, and sharing their experiences with the world through their YouTube channel and blog, NoCo Nomads. Their story is one of adventure, love, and an unending curiosity for what lies around the next bend in the road.

2018

The Beginning

Kodiak and I buy our first van, build it, and set off on our first road trip, starting in their home state of Colorado heading to California and Lousiana.

2018

First National Park

Visited Arches National Park, marking the beginning of our quest to see all the National Parks.

2019

Visited Japan as our first international trip

We visited Okinawa, Japan as our first international trip as a couple.

2020

Van Life Full-Time

Obtained a fully remote job allowing us to live on the road in our van full-time, embracing the nomadic lifestyle completely.

2020

Built Out Another Van

We loved Van Life enough to buy another van and build out our adventure home.

2024

Completed a 3 month journey to Alaska

This was our longest van life road trip! We drove up to Alaska exploring Canadian Provinces on the way.
